The Remains of Buhari in London
It is humbling to see what has become of the remains of a leader like Buhari. Just a few years ago, he was Nigeria’s most powerful man.
One profound lesson from Islam is the reminder that, in death, we return to dust the moment we lose the gift of life. If only people understood that power is entrusted to serve others, not to be served.
When you die, everything—your name, titles, and status—fades away. No one will call for “Buhari” again; it’s simply a body now. That’s all.
May God’s grace envelop him in his grave.
Rest in peace, my leader.
