Words are inadequate to express my rude shock over the news of the demise of our Beloved FATHER, His Grace, Most Rev. Augustine Obiora AKUBUEZE, that shook the foundation of the Catholic Archdiocese of Benin City, and the entire Nation. You were an epitome of humility to both young and old, rich and poor, with an open doors , ever ready to receive and attend to anyone that comes to him for one problem or the other. A man of the people with a Heart of Gold. A very Humble , Quite, Soft Spoken, Simple, Generous and Kind to a fault,Truthful Straight forward, A Great Leader, Hard-working in the aspect of Evangelisation in the LORD'S vineyard, in the Archdiocese of Benin City, was his mean focus. A man that is ever ready to let go and forgive all those that offended him. A very good man to the core, and hardly can we come across such a MAN in our lives time again. He is already a SAINT in Heaven, interceding for all of us, and that is our Consolation. I will not be surprised that after his burial people can go to his Grave touch and pray over him to receive whatever needs that they are asking GOD for through him, to intercede before OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST AND OUR MOTHER MARY to grant us. He has completed his circle in his life, no wonder he slept peacefully without any disturbance to anybody, in far away America. May his gentle soul continue to find rest at the bosom of our Lord JESUS CHRIST and MOTHER MARY interceding for him in heaven, through JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD, Amen and Amen.
